Summary
I completed my undergraduate degree at Pamukkale University in 2012. My thesis was about the three-dimensional modeling of substrate interactions with cytochrome P450s. After getting my bachelor's degree, I joined Arslan laboratory as a MSc student and wrote my thesis titled "Assessment of CYP1A1 inhibition by natural polyphenols applying in vitro and molecular docking studies". During my PhD, I studied the anticancer and antimicrobial activities of natural polysaccharides in human tumor cell lines and pathogen microorganisms under the supervision of Sevki Arslan. At this time, I studied as a scholarship in different projects funded by TUBITAK. Now, I am working as a postdoctoral fellow at Arslan laboratory.
